I am an award-winning, creative and results-driven creative producer/director/editor with expertise in producing commercials, branded content, short-form documentary films and animation. I'm experienced at setting up and managing shoots across 5 continents for clients including Coca-Cola, Sony, The Rockefeller Foundation and Huawei. I am highly experienced in leading multiple simultaneous projects and overseeing films from initial concept to final delivery. I’ve gained most of my production skills making network programmes over a ten year period at the BBC. With my strong background in storytelling and production, I am confident in my ability to create compelling narratives. I have lived and worked in Vietnam for six years where I set up a small production company called Sirius with my partner. Through Sirius, I produced, directed and edited films for non-profit and commercial clients such as Unicef, the Rockefeller Foundation, Savills and Sony in Vietnam, Cambodia and China. I currently work on a freelance basis as a Producer/Director/Editor. I’m passionate about storytelling and am always looking for way to improve my skills.     I was commissioned by District Eight Design to Produce, Direct and Edit a short film about their brand.     I was approched by District Eight Design to Produce, Direct and edit a short film about their brand.
    I worked with my Director of Photography to capture imagery which focused primarily on how the products are made; highlighting the carefully hand-crafted details and finishes within the steel and wood work, and the use of very traditional manufacturing techniques, which come together to produce modern industrial furnishings; each piece with it’s own distinct character.

    Co-founder and designer Darren Chew fell in love with the culture and architecture of Vietnam whilst visiting in his early 20s. He spent a lot of time around District Eight and downtown Cho Lon (District 5) and as a result most of his designs are inspired by the industrial age and the French Colonial period.
