I’m a Helsinki-based graphic designer with a background in publication design, illustration, branding, and self-publishing. My education includes two Master’s degrees—Visual Communication Design (Aalto University, Finland) and Book Design (School of Art and Design, Moscow)—as well as a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. This mix of disciplines helps me approach design with both structure and curiosity. In recent years, I’ve worked on a range of projects: book and cover design for publishing houses, visual content for NGOs, and illustrations that make complex or inclusive topics more approachable. I spent a year as an in-house designer for an ecological NGO, did numerous free-lance project for the past two years and have contributed to many volunteer-led initiatives. I’m particularly interested in combining analog and digital processes. For book projects, I always create physical prototypes and enjoy challenging traditional formats, whether through layout, structure, or material. I’ve also helped organize exhibitions and events—mainly in educational and nonprofit settings—bringing together people, ideas, and design. Creative recognitions include the Finnish Scholarship for an MA in Visual Communication Design, Winner of the Design Notebook competition (TOKYO & AYY, 2022), and selected work in the International Poster Competition «Save Lapinlahti with a Poster» (2023), among others. I’m drawn to projects that support well-being, sustainability, and equality, and I enjoy working in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams and make sure different voices are heard.
