Janeé is an animator trained in both digital and traditional arts. Her artistic journey began at an early age of drawing characters and slowly grew into a passion for visuals. She honed her creative skills in sketching and acrylic painting throughout high school and later prided herself in being a self-taught digital painter as well. She was in many clubs in high school but the one that inspired her the most going into college was Graphic Design. She gained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at her “Home by the Sea” Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. Ultimately her passion for visuals gravitated her towards animation where she discovered her love of storytelling through wordless motion and actions with characters. She decided to get her Master of Fine Art in Animation and VFX at Academy of Art University in San Francisco where she was taught under the animation industry's finest and even worked on the project "Coyote's Place" in the Academy’s collaborative production experience, Studio X.
