I am an interior architect currently working in an architecture and interior architecture firm in Lausanne, where I have gained over four years of professional experience. Over the past year, I have gradually expanded my practice by reducing my workload at the firm and taking on freelance projects. During this time, I have successfully completed two residential projects as well as a restaurant project in Lausanne called Kaake. The objective of this project was to develop a strong and cohesive concept that reflects the brand’s identity and cultural origins. I created a comprehensive design approach, including moodboards, a defined color palette, and carefully selected materials, all aimed at translating the essence of Kaake into a spatial experience. At the same time, I ensured that all functional and technical requirements specific to a restaurant environment were fully addressed. Through detailed 2D plans and 3D visualizations, I was able to communicate a clear and compelling vision, allowing the client to confidently approve the project. This experience has strengthened my interest in restaurant design, where storytelling, identity, and functionality come together.
