My name is Jitka Skuhrava, and I believe my work is synonymous with natural modeling of shape, organic design, free line drawings, and precise, experienced work with different materials. Drawing brings me pure joy, and I have been dedicated to art for over 20 years following my studies at the Academy of Art, Design and Architecture in Prague. I began studying glass engraving and drawing at the age of 14 and actively engage in artistic processing through drawing, graphic prints, glass engraving, and cutting. I derive my characteristic linear decor mainly from nature, inspired by structures like nests woven by birds or spider webs. I enjoy combining various techniques such as ink, pencil drawing, chalks, watercolors, and photography. While I prefer classic hand drawing and traditional materials, I am also proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Rhinoceros software as needed today. After graduating from the University of Applied Arts in Prague, I primarily work in glass art and teach children. Each of my works tells its own story, reflecting my everyday life.
