    Echoes of Mending

Echoes of Mending is an interactive installation that combines projection mapping, hand-drawn animation and miniature environments to investigate themes of vulnerability, care and self-acceptance.

Visitors interact with a domestic miniature world through gestures of touching, opening, repairing and tending. These actions activate animated projections that reveal emotional landscapes hidden beneath the surface of ordinary spaces. Rooms gradually shift between states of anxiety, neglect and restoration, reflecting internal experiences that often remain unseen or unspoken.

Drawing from the concept of symbolic play, the work proposes physical interaction as a form of emotional dialogue. Rather than presenting a fixed narrative, the installation invites participants to construct meaning through exploration, encouraging moments of reflection, empathy and personal interpretation.

Through acts of care performed within the miniature environment, Echoes of Mending asks whether mending spaces can also become a way of mending ourselves.

    hiddenJOY

hiddenJOY is an interactive installation that uses projection mapping and miniature environments to reveal small moments of joy concealed within everyday spaces.

Animated scenes emerge throughout a hand-crafted urban landscape, rewarding audiences who choose to pause, observe and explore. Through acts of curiosity and discovery, participants uncover playful narratives that might otherwise remain unseen.

The work reflects on the pace of contemporary life and asks how moments of wonder can be rediscovered within the ordinary. By inviting audiences to look closer, hiddenJOY transforms observation into participation and encourages an appreciation for the quiet pleasures that surround us but often go unnoticed.

    A Late Bloomer

A Late Bloomer is a hand-drawn animated short that explores themes of self-acceptance, growth and belonging through the journey of a flower that blooms in the middle of winter.

Without dialogue or facial expressions, the film relies on movement, rhythm and sound to convey emotion and personality, following a character that struggles to flourish within an environment that appears unsuited to its existence.

Inspired by experiences of comparison, self-doubt and the pressure to grow at the same pace as others, the work reflects on the idea that growth does not follow a universal timeline. Through its quiet narrative, A Late Bloomer celebrates the beauty of developing in one’s own time and finding value in paths that unfold differently from expectation.
