When I arrived, the team was not doing up to date practices on the front end, they were editing front end code directly on Sitecore CMS WYSIWYG webview which is a very uncomfortable workflow. I presented a homemade approach to be able to reuse all the CMS data acting as if it were a headless CMS. I implemented an experimental NodeJS middleware, catching all front end requests and calling Sitecore CMS just to get the variables on global vars and use them to hydrate them on this middleware using react side rendering.

Worked with Keytree agency in Barclays offices to help in the development of an internal new CRM software for Barclays HR department. The team was new to Angular and I highlighted an exceeding maximum recommended watchers that Angular should have in order to improve the UI performance and stability. Also instructed the front end devs to stop watchings on DOM attributes and start using the angular bindings as props.

This ecommerce was going to work as a selling point for items seen in their well-known brands like Vogue, GQ, etc. I joined the team when we were 5 members and ended up moving to Candem Town offices where the team grew up to +40 members.
