In celebration of Singapore’s 60th year of independence (SG60), I collaborated with the local label Coldwear to create an exclusive textile artwork for a limited-edition collection. The design blends heritage influences with a contemporary twist, drawing inspiration from the iconic Peranakan shophouses along Joo Chiat. Through this artwork, I reinterpreted the intricate architectural details and vibrant character of these historic buildings into a modern textile format.
