    paper Beyond the Noise

Beyond The Noise takes you deep into Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula, home to 2.5% of the world’s biodiversity, at the Tamandua Biological Station, a hub for pioneering conservation research. Follow the Kashmir World Foundation (KwF) team of interns, citizen scientists, and experts as they explore the cutting-edge world of bioacoustics and artificial intelligence to decode the language of sentinel species—nature’s early warning system.

This groundbreaking expedition is the first to use correlated datasets to train AI in the heart of a primary rainforest. By listening to howler monkeys, kinkajous, and other sentinel species, KwF demonstrates how technology can bridge the gap between humans and wildlife, helping protect endangered species and their habitats.
