Iago Xacobeo - Camiño de Inverno

Children’s Guide Character Illustration – “Iago on the Camino de Invierno” (commissioned and published by the Xacobeo / Regional Ministry of Culture of the Government of Galicia)

I illustrated Iago, an adventurous and curious boy created to guide young readers through the Camino de Invierno (Winter Way), one of the historic pilgrimage routes to Santiago de Compostela. The project was officially published on the Xacobeo website, as part of an initiative supported by the Regional Ministry of Culture of the Government of Galicia.

The illustrations aimed to combine charm and clarity, offering a relatable children’s character who could spark curiosity about cultural heritage while making the Camino experience accessible and engaging for a younger audience.
