Born in Paris in 1998, I entered the Paris 13th Maurice Ravel Conservatory in 2004, where I studied music theory, counterpoint, harmony, improvisation, violin, guitar and double bass for twelve years. In 2013 I joined the Claude Monet high school orchestra, in Paris, as a double bassist. In 2017, I obtained a scholarship to study Mathematics and the Application of Technologies to Music, at the Faculty of Art of McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. In 2019, I moved to the United States for a year, thanks to a scholarship for a Music, Screenplay and Mathematics program at UCLA - University of California Los Angeles. In 2021, I obtained my Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Art of McGill University with honours. In 2013, following an internship at Hit’n’Run in composition and sound design for images, I composed the soundtrack of Mutant Stage, a short choreographic film commissioned by Dimitri Chamblas and Lafayette Anticipation - Fondation des Galeries Lafayette. Between 2015 and 2023, I scored many advertising (Sia Home, L'Oréal, NDL design Studio...) and created radio jingles (Tableauscopie d'Antoine Leiris, Radio France). In 2023 I collaborate with the artist François Vogel on his digital distortion videos. The same year, Les Utopiales 2023 festival in Nantes commissioned me to write the music and create the soundtrack to an immersive virtual reality experience by artist Pierre Friquet. I also composed the soundtrack for the documentary Les Architectes de l’Espace by Élodie Fertil, produced by Mediawan. Between 2015 and 2020, I produced the soundtracks for several short films, Natural Vignettes, En Rose by Benjie Higgins, artistic performance videos, The Lampads, Les Impatiences by Elene Usdin and the soundtrack of a claymation work, The Simpson Couch Gag by visual artist Lee Hardcastle. I am also interested in the design and creation of musical instruments combining microprocessors and live performances, work carried out in 2018 in Montreal, at the SAT - Society of Technological Arts. My music creates links between so-called classical music, sound technological innovations and current music. Themes that I explore through several albums under the alias Boni. Alongside my personal work, I am an arranger and sound engineer on other musicians' projects, notably at Studio Artistic Palace. In 2022 I signed a writing and drawing project with Les Éditions Sarbacane, Detroit Roma, in collaboration with the author Elene Usdin. We partly wrote the script during a short residency in spring 2023, at the Académie de France in Rome - La Villa Medicis.
