uniE603 BBC Radio Audio Editing Example
Radio 4 Broadcasting House interview recorded to mark the Grand Ole Opry's first time visit to London. To mark the historic occasion i came up with the idea of doing a piece on the rise of country music in the UK. This was developed from idea to finished piece by me and was edited by myself with country tracks woven through to shape pace and narrative.
uniE603 How to buy a football club
Audio example from my time as Series Editor of the BBC 5 Live podcast called How To Buy A Football Club. A documentary podcast that follows the real-life process of attempting to buy an English football club. The series explores the financial, political and cultural realities behind football ownership, taking listeners inside the complex world of club takeovers and the people trying to make them happen. The audio example is from an exclusive interview we did with the Finnish billionaire Thomas Zilliacus who was trying to buy Manchester United. This exclusive interview we did with Mr Zilliacus was picked up and quoted by media outlets across the UK.
