I was born and raised in the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where I started taking oil painting lessons at the age of 5. During my college years in Rio, I spent most of my time at the printmaking studio under the tutorship of printmaker Tereza Miranda and presented a children’s book illustrated entirely in woodcut as a graduation project that earned a BA in Graphic Design with honors distinction. After 3 years studying design and fashion at the University of The Arts London, I returned to Rio and founded Bananeira Interiores. I conceptualized the brand's creative strategy, combining the ancient techniques of woodcutting with fresh color schemes and digital tools: woodcut prints turned into repeat patterns for textile goods. I studied graphic design, branding and styling before moving to Texas in 2016 where I worked as a graphic designer serving Austin’s top rated professionals. After becoming a mother in 2021 decided to focus on my core skills; creating beautiful things.
