I am Juliana De Nicola, a trend forecaster and designer based in Florence, Italy. I have extensive experience in trend research and forecasting, innovation, cross-disciplinary artistic influences, subcultures, craftsmanship and sustainable practices; collection design, materials sourcing and embellishment design.
As a freelancer and educator, I lead Arteria Consulting, conduct trend forecasting and bio-construction collaborations, sourcing artisanal and industrial processes, and drive product management and industrialisation. I work on international sourcing trips (Italy, Japan, UK, France, Korea) and collaborate with global clients such as AVAVAV, Roberto Cavalli, Elie Saab, Jil Sander, and Ciemmeci. I also teach fashion design and trend forecasting at institutions in Florence and abroad, sharing knowledge on materials, leather finishes, and sustainable textiles.
