paper Electric Motorcycle | End-to-end Design

In Kenya, motorcycles are vital working tools for riders who rely on them for transport, taxi services, and deliveries.

I led the design of the Roam Air Gen 1, a rugged, practical electric motorcycle tailored to this use. My role spanned user research, prototyping, and collaboration with engineering to ensure functionality, comfort, and durability.

The project launched successfully, with over 3,000 units sold to date.

paper Rebrand & Visual Identity Roam

In 2022, I led the full rebrand of Roam, Africa’s leading electric motorcycle and energy company (formerly Opibus). The company needed a modern, memorable identity aligned with its mission and local market.

I developed the new name, logo, and visual identity system. Combining bold, functional forms with Kenya’s signature orange hues. My work spanned brand strategy, design execution, and production of assets for digital and print.

The rebrand successfully positioned Roam as the most recognizable electric mobility brand in Africa.
