Hi, I’m Joana, a Porto-born filmmaker and freelance videographer/editor who works under the name Joana X and, with my partner Nuno Marques, as JUNO. I studied Cinema and Television at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, with a six-month stint at Università di Bologna, and I’ve built a body of work in editing, animation, and camera across Lisbon and Porto. I’ve collaborated with theatre and performing arts groups, directed music videos, and created documentaries and promotional materials for a range of clients.
