All my life, I’ve been the person behind the camera. Is it because I’m kind of ugly and unphotogenic, or because I simply like the feeling of being in control of whatever is happening? I don’t know.
I like to imagine myself as the eye of the public — they see what I want them to see. In a way, it gives me the chance to “rebuild” the world around my own ideas and how everything should be seen.Where I grew up and the people who surrounded me also played a big role in shaping my career path. I’ve always been driven by the desire to get away, to prove that I’m different, that I’m better, and that I deserve to be seen.My so-called career started back in 2023, when I became part of the underground music scene in Sofia. Alongside being a musician, I started filming and photographing other artists and their performances. As concerts became a weekly part of my life, I gradually gained recognition for my work.
One of the bands, U Died Yesterday, noticed my work and liked what I was doing. I eventually began working with them on music videos, album promotions, posters, and other visual projects.
Later, I was given the opportunity to work on a major film production, Sofia, which marked the beginning of my professional career in the film industry.
