    paper Archive Events

Archive Events is a new Toronto-based event company that crafts immersive experiences rooted in nostalgia and storytelling. With a vision to bridge the past and present, they approached me to create a brand identity that felt timeless, intentional, and quietly bold—just like the events they produce.

To develop a complete brand identity for a start-up event company that wanted to avoid the usual trends of the events industry. The goal was to build something emotionally resonant and iconic from the start—an identity that could evolve with them while making a strong first impression with early clientele and partners.

I began with deep immersion into their ethos: drawing inspiration from archival forms, vintage cues, and the tension between eras. The final identity features a bespoke logomark and icon—a split symbol that reflects duality: past/present, ephemeral/timeless, memory/experience.

    paper Biko Jewelry

Inspired by a nostalgic appreciation of the past but committed to expressing a thoroughly modern sensibility, Biko Jewelry needed a new visual identity to appeal to a style-conscious, 20-something clientele. I crafted a cohesive brand identity with a nuanced typeface for the simple four-lettered name, featuring a custom-reduced ‘b’ and a hand-drawn ‘i’ to balance elegance and modernity.

The accompanying symbol, combining crown and feather imagery, nods to traditional ornamentation while presenting a starkly modern black-and-white aesthetic. The website and look books I designed continue this theme with clean lines and minimalist layouts, creating an engaging presence. The tagline “Modern Nostalgia” encapsulates Biko’s blend of past and present, while the thoughtfully designed packaging provides a luxurious unboxing experience, ensuring a unified and compelling brand appeal.

paper Vinny Restaurant + Vinyl Bar

Vinny is a cool, new restaurant and vinyl bar on King Street by INK Entertainment—where shared plates and spinning records set the tone for unforgettable nights. The concept blends a laid-back, soulful energy with elevated design, sound, and cuisine.

I was brought on to develop the name, brand strategy, visual identity, and full collateral system, rooted in flow, flavour, and connection. The custom wordmark fuses retro soul with modern sophistication, while the icon subtly echoes the tactile spin of a vinyl record—clean, effortless, and cool.

    paper Beso Restaurant

Beso, meaning “kiss” in Spanish, is a sultry new restaurant by INK Entertainment—infused with Latin spirit and modern sensuality. Flirtatious, fiery, and full of flavour, Beso by Patria delivers a bold Spanish dining experience in the heart of Toronto’s King West.

I was brought on to develop the name, brand strategy, and visual identity. The custom wordmark transforms each letter into a metaphor for a dinner guest, turning the name into a layered story of connection and chemistry. The icon captures a moment suspended in time, the magnetic tension just before a kiss. Abstract yet expressive, it hints at lips, heat, and desire, inviting interpretation while striking a balance between playfulness and sophistication. The brand’s signature palette, a flirtatious red paired with blush pink, was chosen to evoke both passion and tenderness, reflecting the emotion of a kiss and the vibrancy of Spanish culture. Together, they express Beso’s duality: bold yet soft, modern yet timeless. A Brand Standards Guide was developed for INK’s in-house team to ensure seamless rollout across all channels, preserving the spirit of the brand through launch and beyond.

    paper Amuse Catering

Amuse Catering is a boutique Toronto-based luxury catering brand that transforms dining into an artful experience. Rooted in the belief that food should delight every sense, Amuse creates bespoke menus and tablescapes that merge culinary craftsmanship with elegant design.

I developed the brand strategy, visual identity, and collateral to express its refined yet soulful essence, balancing minimal elegance with organic warmth. The typographic wordmark, with its extended spacing, evokes a long table, while the letterforms convey quality and luxury. The icon symbolizes an abstract tablescape, capturing the artistry and harmony at the heart of the Amuse experience.

    paper Lauren Walker Lee Branding

Lauren Walker Lee (LWL) is a personal stylist with a sharp, editorial point of view, curating wardrobes with intention, confidence, and ease. The identity is designed to feel fashion-forward yet timeless. A bold, high-contrast wordmark makes her name the hero, clean, commanding, and immediately credible. The LWL monogram functions like a designer stamp: built from her initials, the repetition of the L creates a refined symmetry in a crisp, geometric form, minimal, memorable, and unmistakably hers.
