I’m a stop motion animator with a love of tactile storytelling, handmade world and emotionally driven character animation. My work centres on performance, materiality and craft; blending traditional stop motion techniques with textiles, natural materials and experimental production methods to create animation that feels intimate and alive. Recent work includes animating and crafting the papercut stop motion music video Little Space (2024) for Coruja Jones, where rhythm, timing, and visual storytelling were led directly by the music. Alongside this, I animated and fabricated my award-winning short film Seaglass (2023), developed during my MA in Animation at the University of Salford. The film explores grief and won Best Student Animation at the Ray Harryhausen Awards 2024 with selections at BAFTA- and BIFA-qualifying festivals. I recently worked at Aardman as a Trainee Assistant Animator and Set Dresser on Very Small Creatures Series 3 via the ScreenSkills Trainee Finder Scheme (2024). In this role, I supported character preparation, test animation, sculpting, prop painting and set dressing within a fast-paced studio pipeline.
