Hello! I’m Keona, a sound editor based in Metro Vancouver. I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Motion Picture Arts, where I trained across multiple areas of filmmaking and specialized in audio post production. During my studies, I worked on student films in roles including dialogue and sound editing, re-recording mixing and foley. Additionally, I recently completed the Audio Post Essentials course at 344 Audio, where I focused on refining my workflow and strengthening my approach to post-production sound. I am proficient in Pro Tools and passionate about storytelling through sound. I approach every project with care and attention to detail, and I’m especially drawn to creating cinematic, immersive, and emotionally driven audio. My sound design style leans toward realistic, dramatic, and impactful soundscapes, always aiming to fully serve the story. I like to think of sound as a performance in itself. It shapes emotion, tone and meaning within a story, much like how an actor brings a character to life. I am currently focused on building a career in sound editing and design and am looking to collaborate on film projects as well as continue growing towards working in professional post-production environments.
