From being a creative force as an editor, right down to being a ScriptSync savant, KRIS MYERS is a detail-oriented, versatile and enthusiastic contributor to any editorial or post production department. They've been working as a freelancer in Toronto, Canada for the past 4 years. Kris is an editor, assistant editor, photographer and award-winning writer. Their recent TV credits include the Emmy-winning series WEDNESDAY (Netflix), SMALL ACHIEVABLE GOALS and RUN THE BURBS (CBC Gem). They were also an Assistant Editor on the latest Alex Winter film, ADULTHOOD (Paramount), which debuted at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival. They also served as the Editor on multiple commercials and indie shorts. Shorts of note include FROLIC'S HAUNT and THE SWEETEST GOODBYE, both of which have screened at over a dozen international film festivals. Kris studied Broadcasting, Film & Digital Media Production at Centennial College. They are a member of several professional organizations and collectives including: The Directors Guild of Canada - Ontario District (Picture Editing Caucus), Canadian Cinema Editors, Queer In Post and Access Reelworld. Outside of Film & TV work, Kris’ editorial photography has appeared in Canadian Living Magazine, The Toronto Star, The Globe & Mail, NOW and The Winnipeg Free Press. They also have 2 Webby Awards for their work on the web comic EFFIN’ BIRDS, beating out THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JIMMY FALLON both times.
