My professional path is a bit of an intersection between creativity and logic: I started with an engineering degree but from my very first job, I gravitated toward the marketing side of things — creating visual concepts, preparing exhibition stands, and managing content. Over time, this evolved into a passion for visual communication and design — from print materials and advertising layouts to digital interfaces. Before all that, right after school, I studied theoretical composition, color theory, and typography at the Faculty of Civil Architecture. Those subjects still inspire me to this day — they shaped my way of seeing balance, rhythm, and emotion in design. I’ve also served in the aviation corps headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — not as a pilot, but as a graphic designer. That experience taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to make a poster look great even when the electricity goes out. Later, I led small IT projects and ran my own business, which gave me an understanding of the “why” behind every design or code decision — not just the “how.” Thanks to this mix of art, engineering, military discipline, and management, my approach to graphic development is both systematic and human-centered. I have extensive experience working with full-cycle printing houses (offset, digital, screen printing), and I’ve been building front-ends since the era before Figma and React — when Photoshop comps and handwritten CSS were our daily bread. In recent years, I’ve worked as a front-end and full-stack developer (React.js, Node.js) in the e-commerce sector. I currently speak English and German at around a B1 level only (not because I don’t like languages, but because I’ve had too little practice). I’m confident that will change quickly once I join an team. I’m not chasing instant high salary — what I’m looking for is a stable, creative environment where I can keep learning, contribute to meaningful products, and help the company grow. If that sounds like someone you’d want on your team, I’d love to chat.
