I've spent forty years in the music industry as a recording engineer, producer and mix engineer, working with major record companies such as EMI, Sony, Chrysalis, BMG, RCA, Island, Rough Trade, Factory and Domino, and with a wide roster of artists including The Christians, China Crisis, The Farm, PJ Harvey, Ladytron, Simian, Hugh Cornwell (The Stranglers), John Lennon’s Quarrymen, Pete Best, Starsailor, Abi Harding (The Zutons) and many more. I’m committed to integrity in art and innovation, and I always aim to bring humanity and enjoyment to the creative process. I have designed and built commercial and private studios and even constructed my own equipment. I’ve learned from and worked with some of the world’s leading producers and engineers, including Dave Richards, Bill Leader, Chris Nagle, Jeremy Wheatley, Chris Blair and Don Airey. My career spans collaborations with major labels, top studios, and a broad spectrum of artists across the globe.
