    uniE621 Tirahvaalta - The Undiscovered Country
    This project has been purely more personal, but the art for it has appeared at some art fairs I had attended. I created an imaginary country called Tirahvaalta after a seed of inspiration by Nick Bantock. I set to designing all aspects from characters to a coat of arms and flag, various cities, even currency and postmarks. I wrote several stories about specific characters and designed a special calendar that the denizens follow. I have illustrated much of it in digital form via collage but also have created several character illustration in tradition media, all of which are available for view on my deviantart site under the Tirahvaalta Gallery.     This project evolved from a large scale mixed media drawing collage of a playing card version of Hamlet, to a paper doll that was available for download on DeviantArt, to a twitter persona project where I posted Shakespearean humor, Hamlet memes, and engaged with followers using authentic 16th century dialogue. I regularly created content with included original song parodies, art, and even photos of myself costumes and posed as Hamlet, from 2013 to about 2016. During this period I designed an entire deck of Shakespearean playing cards with my design of Hamlet as one of the court cards, and promoted it on the account.     This social media project started in March 2023 on Instagram. I had designed an hand drawn a paper doll for the comedian, artist and Great British Baking Show Presenter Noel Fielding, and started the Instagram account to promote it. It became much more than simply a way to present the doll, it evolved into a repository for portrait art, memes, games, humorous skits, illustrated stories, video edits and original videos with puppets, all designed and created by me. The account was discovered by Noel Fielding and followed in June 2025. In March 2026, the original paper doll went digital and became a dress up game in itch.io.
