    paper Islands

This short film marks the meeting of an 18th century sailor who was shipwrecked onto a tropical island where he meets a mysterious crew of aliens who try and take him back to space.
This encounter was to be the first meeting of life-long friends John (the human) and Aletheia (the alien crew’s captain) who after many years sailing the cosmos together disband after a fatal event forces them to part ways.
The present timeline now follows Aletheia and her younger sister Freddie who has just joined her crew as they explore the galaxy for bounties while also narrowly missing the grasp of the Galactic Federation, and their now loyal servant, John.
