Aspiring architect with a passion for blending creativity, cultural heritage, and functionality in design. In 2024, I was awarded the prestigious Terry Scholar Foundation Full-ride Scholarship from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), which allows me to pursue my dream of studying architecture. My journey into architecture is rooted in my deep admiration for buildings and how they shape communities. Growing up between Mexico and the United States, I was surrounded by rich, vibrant architectural landscapes that inspired me to see buildings as more than structures—they tell stories, evoke emotions, and create spaces for everyone.
Throughout my academic journey, I’ve had the opportunity to showcase my artistic abilities, winning competitions such as the Congressional Art Competition. These experiences have validated my determination and love for design, further fueling my desire to contribute to the built environment.
At UTSA, I’m pursuing a degree in Architecture, with a focus on creating inclusive, sustainable, and culturally resonant spaces. My background as an immigrant provides me with a unique perspective, and I’m passionate about using architecture to give back to communities. By designing spaces that reflect diversity and bring people together, I hope to leave a lasting impact.
Fluent in both Spanish and English, I am ready to take on new challenges, grow my skills, and make meaningful contributions through the power of design.
