UX Research, Service & UI Design (UReady) at SPARCK × Triodos Bank

April 1, 2025 - June 1, 2025

Co-created UReady for Triodos Bank, a B2C settlement companion app for international students. Drove the De Kine stage with HMW and design principles, mapped information architecture, and contributed to wireframing, user-flow mapping, mid-fidelity prototyping, design system adaptation, and iterative improvements across banking and documents. Conducted user testing on the Timeline flow and independently led its iteration, documenting 10 design refinements including a countdown-first layout, colour-coded category tags and status indicators, and a trust-focused call-to-action. After delivery, self-initiated a redesign: built a full high-fidelity prototype, rebuilt the design system, and used an ecosystem map to redirect product strategy—refining the solution for longevity and clearly scoping the account-opening function.

UX Researcher (Client Project) at PhysioFlow × Swarmcompute

Applied archetype modelling for a Swarmcompute client project to capture patients’ psychological needs and behavioural patterns. Built a patient-centric user journey map of the recovery cycle based on those archetypes. Delivered a strategic roadmap to reduce patient churn and improve retention.

End-to-End Mobile App Designer (Independent Project) at Equinox: Home Energy Hub

November 1, 2024 - January 1, 2025

Designed an independent end-to-end mobile app for a connected home energy system. Translated research into proto-personas and scenarios, defined the information architecture, and prioritised the feature set. Built wireframes into a low-fidelity prototype, ran two rounds of think-aloud user testing, then created a design system and delivered a high-fidelity prototype for the core experience. Designed energy dashboards and chart-based data visualisation to support glanceable insights. Implemented two goal modes (carbon and financial targets) with progress tracking and real-time prompt messaging.

UX Researcher (Usability Evaluation) at Usability Evaluation of Gucci.com

September 1, 2024 - December 1, 2024

Independently authored a usability evaluation of Gucci.com building on team research with 7 evaluators. Conducted heuristic review identifying 59 usability issues, quantitative testing with 7 novice users across 4 purchase-journey tasks, and a WCAG 2.2 accessibility audit identifying 20+ violations. Prioritised insights by importance and severity and produced evidence-based redesign recommendations focused on navigation visibility, wishlist design, product display, and form-field clarity.

Industrial Design Engineer at Shenzhen Yihua Computer Co., Ltd.

July 1, 2017 - July 1, 2018

Designed home navigation proposals for Agricultural Bank of China’s Super Counter self-service terminal, building navigation architecture from scratch where the existing bank system covered only online/mobile. Adapted and exported the bank’s design system icons for terminal screen resolution and created missing icons while maintaining the bank’s visual style for functions such as ID card reading, receipt printing, and remote teller assistance. Grouped and ranked home screen entries by standing viewing distance and arm reach to keep high-frequency functions within comfortable reach. Produced a large-type variant for elderly customers—reducing entries, enlarging buttons and type, and shortening paths to main functions.
