I worked with the director Jakob Webb, on his feature film project documenting various religious ceremonies and scenes of daily life across Asia. During this job, I executed the ideas of the director via creating soundscapes and recurring motifs that tied the story of the film together, while subtly bringing out emotion through sound that would provide additional emotional depth to the story in a professional and proactive manner.

I worked in collaboration with a producer called Lewis Amoroso (going by Amo Audio on social media) to fulfil a creative brief for a piece in the EDM sub-genre "Botanica". this was to be used KPM group for sync licensing and advertising placements. In this role, I researched the style of the brief, compiling various sound types that I thought would be useful for the style. I then collaboratively worked with Lewis to craft a polished track, with distinctive edit points to work around the visuals of the advert.

    paper Imagination - a Botanica composition for KPM group

    This is a track made for a production album collated by KPM music group. The Brief genre was Botanica, an increasingly popular genre of EDM, which uses soft and airy nature sounds, as well as glitchy synth textures and hyperpop-style vocals.

    paper Altered States of Mind - a feature documentary by Kobwebb Films.

    In this feature-length documentary, director Jakob Webb documents how religion fits into the modern world, exploring how the psychedelic renaissance in the west links with ancient traditions and the implications it could have. He travels to Bali, Nepal, Australia and more, showing the specific traditions of each place and the people who live there. The sound for this movie which I have created, uses region-specific instruments such as the Gamelan from Bali, alongside masterfully blended synth sound design and composition that elevates the sensory experience of the viewer beyond the ordinary state of mind.
