I'm a Music Producer, Mixing Engineer and multi-instrumentalist with both a Masters degree in Music Production and a BSc in Songwriting and Music Production. I am a classically trained musician, playing guitar, piano, double bass and bass guitar. My guitar playing saw me achieve classical grade 8 at the age of 16 before diversifying and spreading to other genres including rock, pop, metal, jazz, blues, R&B and more. I have gained a huge amount of experience over the last 10 years playing varying genres in venues such as the Chichester Festival Theatre, Minera Theatre, Wedgwood rooms and The Spice of Life. My classical double bass playing also took me on 2 European tours as well as notable performances in the Royal Festival Theatre and Birmingham Symphony Hall. I spent 4 years at university studying music, in which time I earned a 1st class CertHE in Creative Music Practice (focusing mainly on instrumental proficiency and music theory), a 1st Class BSc in Songwriting and Music Production, and a Masters with Distinction in Music Production. After graduating in 2022 I co-founded a Music Production company called PASES. In the last year I have worked as a producer and mixing engineer, as well as a collaborative songwriter with several artists, and successfully released multiple songs with them.     Another PASES original. This one actually started life in demo form as part of my Masters degree dissertation. It was then transformed into this final product after some re-recording and tweaking in production elements. It was originally put over a sequence of shots from the Edgar Wright movie 'Last Night in Soho' where it takes it's sinister yet fun vibe from. Again, this song had the mission of blending vintage and ultra modern sounds, and I think it turned out really well. I'm especially fond of the bridge section of this song and the harmony writing within, I hope you like it too!…

    One of the original PASES songs. This one was made entirely with my PASES partner Charlotte Tattam from writing, to recording, to producing, to mixing. I couldn't be happier with how this song turned out, especially the chorus production which I feel hits incredibly hard. I think that the blend of heavy electronic synthesised elements with old-school inspired guitar tones perfectly captures the duality we wanted, and I also love the gang vocals, they just sound great to me and are incredibly effective. This track is also what I believe to be the best showcase of my vocals so far.…
    uniE603 Truth or Dare - Carla Coyne
    Working with Carla and the band was a great experience. It was one of the first projects I did as half of PASES, and we were immediately faced with a slight hitch; the band wanted to have live/real-feeling drums, but didn't have the option to rent out a studio space to record them. The way we solved that issue was to have them take a video of their drummer playing through the song, and then my production partner and I went through and recreated the entire performance hit-for-hit on a midi kit. We then made sure to produce it like we would a live drum kit, and we think it worked incredibly well (and so did the band). This was a brilliant song to work on, it really allowed exploration of atmosphere and subtlety before exploding into big moving choruses and instrumentals.…
    uniE603 LOOK AT U - Sweet Coins
    The first single I worked on with Sweet Coins as a producer/mix engineer. This song was an absolute blast to work on, as my production parter and I were tasked with taking a fairly standard pop/punk demo and turning it into a modern alternative rock powerhouse with hyperpop elements. It was so much fun to fiddle with different parts of this production, trying to walk that line between good fun and cheesy, while keeping the anthemic rock heart alive. I think it was a complete success and I'm beyond proud of how the final product sounds.…
    uniE603 Happy - Sweet Coins
    This was the second single I worked on for Sweet Coins. This one challenged my production partner (Charlotte Tattam) and I to find a slightly heavier feel while keeping the playfulness that the band wanted intact. We found a great balance by using incredibly heavy sounding guitars and drums, but breaking them up with fun sound effects which lightened the mood. We felt the final product showcased this bold, heavy sound and captured the melancholy vibe of the lyrics without ever straying into depressing or negative territory, which we saw as an absolute success.…

    This was a great pop-punk song to work on for band Sweet Coins. Again this was a project I did as half of PASES. The artist wanted a lively, powerful production which felt polished yet also had a slight live feel to it. My PASES parter Charlotte Tattam and myself set to work during the recording session making sure we had stacks of vocals and guitar to create a truly epic and organic sound, and blended that with epic, punchy drums to give real weight. We split all recording, producing and mixing 50/50 again, before sending to Felix Davis at Metropolis to master.…

    I worked as half of PASES on this re-imagining of Bizet's classic. My partner (Charlotte Tattam) and I shared all responsibilities for running the vocal recording session for the amazing artist/vocalist Zoë Mace, creating the arrangement, and playing all of the live instruments and synthesised parts. My partner and I then also equally divided responsibilities in the production and mix of the track before it was sent off to Master at Felix Davis from Metropolis. #music #musicproducer #mixenginee…
