LUCIE COLLINS With already one EP under her belt and bags of stage experience Lucie Collins, British singer-songwriter based in France has been performing since the young age of three. As a former Dancer and Actress she has always been passionate about Arts and Culture. With an immense sensitivity to injustice and world conflicts she threw herself into writing to express her feelings on important topics some of them can be found on her first EP ‘Second Thoughts’ and single ‘Bee Blues’. Born and raised in the South-West of England Lucie’s favourite artists during childhood were Michael Jackson, The Bangles, Seal, where she would spend her time listening to her cassette tapes and singing into her hairbrush. Later on she became inspired by other artists that have become more like role models such as Norah Jones,Lisa Simone, Aretha Franklin and Sting. Lucie believes that listening to a variety of music styles can open the mind to endless originality and inspires innovative material for years to come. Her music aspires a sense of simplicity highlighting real-life topics with a blend of Funk, world, pop and bossa nova acoustic vibes. Lucie is even more determined than ever for her unique sound to be heard and is super excited for what the future may hold.
