Clean Co is a sustainable laundromat for eco-friendly garment care solutions, based in San Francisco; with a mission not only to transform the way we care for clothes, but the experience while we do so. With community events hosted by local residents and donation-based classes, this laundromat brings a sense of enjoyment to what is usually a dreaded chore.
While working in the agency Eleven, we worked on the rebrand of SurveyMonkey. A twist on their already recognizable brand, we focused on bringing their driving force “Curiosity” in a visual way.
Founded in 1971 by an international film distributor and businessman, Crabtree & Evelyn grew to have (at one point) 350 brick-and-mortar stores across 40 countries. Since then, the brand has slowly declined in the digital age, and its branding catered largely to an older demographic. We revived the brand equity that had made Crabtree & Evelyn unique—and translated it to a new audience through a full brand overhaul.
The name Exa comes from the decimal unit prefix 10¹⁸ (1,000,000,000,000,000,000) because Exa’s range is big, their impact is bigger and they’re at the max on inclusivity. Created by the founders of Credo, Exa wanted to create the first-of-its-kind clean complexion range with packaging that’s designed to be as eco-as-possible.
