I am Luis Tenaglia, born in Mar del Plata, Argentina in 1986. I graduated with honors in Composition at the Luis Gianneo Conservatoire in Mar del Plata and later in Rome at the Santa Cecilia Conservatoire, supported by the Italian Government. I have also pursued advanced studies under Giorgio Battistelli and Luis Bacalov at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, Italy. Over the years, I've been honored with several awards and special mentions at prestigious composition competitions, and my works have been performed internationally by various ensembles, orchestras, and soloists. In 2017, I founded Ensamble Aural, an instrumental group dedicated to contemporary music, focusing on young composers worldwide. From 2016 until 2025, I taught composition, instrumentation, orchestration, and music analysis at Luis Gianneo Conservatoire. Recently in April 2025, I moved to Italy to advance my career further.
