I have over 16 years’ experience working in higher education, instructing face-to-face courses, developing online and blended learning on a wide range of topics including business, education, health, technology and finance, and quality assuring learning products. My experience in academia combined with my background in design provides a unique skill set. To each project, I bring production skills together with pedagogical knowledge, project management experience, and a learner-centred approach to design and quality assurance. I have built a small, global team of trusted professionals who I work with to develop, test, and quality assure courses and learning academies for global clients including corporations, nonprofits, education institutions, startups and consultancies. I oversee the full course production process, from working with subject matter experts to develop the concept, to designing the curriculum, creating graphics and audiovisual assets, writing course content, advising on learning technology and advising on course management and marketing. I have particular interests in open education, information visualisation, language learning and artificial intelligence.
