Maks Plater

Polish cinematographer based in Warsaw, Poland, working worldwide. Currently cinematography faculty student at Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice, Poland. Alumni of Photography Academy of Warsaw. Former intern in Panavision Poland. His films were shown at various film festivals in Poland and internationally. Actively works in film industry since 2016.

Currently working on feature short film in „30 minutes” program in Munk Studio, production studio established by Polish Society of Filmmakers for young filmmakers. In the same studio he works on documentary about minority of Polish Tatars in the face of islamophobia. In filmmaking process what interests him the most is working with underexposures and creating dense film mood through using realistic approach to lighting. What currently drives him the most is working with handheld camera.
