About
I’m Michael Tedstone, a professional composer and sound designer with two decades of experience creating music and audio for film, TV, brands, and digital media. My work has included composing original scores and sound design for award-winning projects such as “Our Uniform,” directed by Yeganeh Moghaddam, and the e-safety series “The Inside Man” by KnowBe4, for which I’ve composed the music across all seasons.
I also bring extensive experience across commercial and broadcast work—ranging from music placements for major companies to sound design for campaigns and animations. In addition to composing, I’ve collaborated closely with production teams and creative partners on a wide variety of media, and I hold a Master’s degree in Songwriting from Bath Spa University, specialising in melody, harmony, lyric writing, and communicating musical decisions in an academic creative format.

Chameleon is an award-winning cybersecurity awareness series produced by Twist & Shout for KnowBe4. Through short, entertaining stories, it explores sophisticated social-engineering techniques and everyday security risks, including phishing, social media and physical security. I composed and produced the original music across the first two seasons, creating a distinctive musical identity separate from my work on The Inside Man. The soundtrack combines live-band performances with contemporary production, punchy rhythms and characterful instrumental writing. The music moves between comedy, tension and intrigue, responding closely to the action while maintaining the series’ energetic and accessible tone. The first season received a Platinum Vega Digital Award and a Gold NYX Award.

The Inside Man is an award-winning cybersecurity drama series produced by Twist & Shout for KnowBe4. Combining thriller, espionage and workplace drama, the series follows a group of characters confronting hacking, manipulation and real-world security threats. I have composed the original score across all seven seasons, developing the music alongside the series as its characters and storylines have expanded. The score blends cinematic orchestration, electronic textures, pulsing technological underscore and darker, menacing themes, with live guitar, cello and woodwind performances featured throughout. For the latest 12-episode season, I produced approximately two hours of original music. The series has been promoted in Times Square, NY and has received five Silver Telly Awards, a Golden Centauri and several Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards Dolphins.
