This was a 2D animated advert promoting recycling at the picture house theatres in York. I designed everything myself, then storyboarded, animated and put everything through post production. The short followes Fern, a butterfly trying to encourage Beatrix to take a break from her work with her through helping find a solution to the mess on her farm. I used Adobe Photoshop, Toon Boon Harmony and Premiere Pro to put this all together.
Unfortunately, 2025 was not as productive as I would have liked it to be, but still some good examples! Some work I did in my final year, most of which from my final majory project 'The Inconceivable Truth'. Unfinished, but something I hope to kick back up one day!
My full animated section of a collaborative short film called Grounded. This went into a 7 day short film anthology about bugs, started by Stemms_ The story followed a butterfly losing his wings to a bird and having to learn how to adapt without them. I designed the monarch butterfly, animated this section and coloured this character for three other scenes. The full short can be found here: https://youtu.be/zWlmeKMvBNQ?si=goBjp2sBQtFN2cG4 The full anthology can be found here: https://youtu.be/3NFA8zCEz7c?si=kTr6YvAj7av8Ywo6
