My name is Marcelo Willcox, and I was born in Recife, PE, Brazil. I graduated in Advertising at Faculdades Integradas Barros Melo. In 2011 I lived in Vancouver, Canada, where I had the opportunity to participate in a Media & Arts program at the EF Language School, which allowed me to become fluent in English. My skill set includes the abilities to work with Adobe package tools such as: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and others. I also have a passion for photography and cinematography, which inspired me to master the use of Premiere Pro, and After Effects. My first employment opportunity was in July 2013, when I interned at Mahalo Comunicação (São Paulo) for two months as Art Direction Assistant, during my college vacation. When I returned to Recife, I had the opportunity to find employment with Curinga Comuniquê, where I worked for more than two years. After this period in Recife, I returned to live in São Paulo where I did the Post-Graduation of Art Direction in Communication, at Centro Universitário de Belas Artes. I had the opportunity to work at BGK | BluEGG as Art Director and to compose Adman Criativa team in São Paulo as well. After this time in São Paulo I came back to Canada, where I am presently completing a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Marketing, at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC. I have been working with Graphic Design, Art Direction, Marketing and Photography for the last six years in both my home city Recife, and in São Paulo.
