Hi, I’m Marcus Arias, an audio engineer and VO producer specializing in audiobook production at WorldVoices Dominicana. I blend technical precision with artistic direction to deliver clear, immersive narration. I work with Pro Tools, iZotope RX, and Ableton Live to capture, edit, mix, and master content across audiobooks, documentaries, and shorts. Based in New York City, I am expanding into narrative and cinematic sound.
In my current role at WorldVoices Dominicana (2023-Present) I produce, edit, and master audiobooks for international distribution and supervise voice recordings for distribution. Since 2021 I have also worked at Pulpo Post as a Sound Designer / Post-Production Engineer, designing sound, Foley, and 5.1 mixes for films and documentaries. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and excited to keep growing in sound design for narrative and cinema.

My role: Sound editor
As an audio editor and sound designer collaborating with Pulpo Post on ‘The Heart of the Tale: Our Lady of Altagracia,’ I played a pivotal role in bringing to life the story of the Virgin of Altagracia, a revered figure in Dominican culture. Working closely with the creative team, I crafted an immersive auditory experience, selecting and editing sound effects and meticulously mixing audio tracks to complement the film’s visuals. From the gentle whisper of prayers to the resounding echoes of processions, every sound was designed to deepen the emotional and spiritual resonance of the narrative.
