Marije Richards

Hello, I’m Marije Richards. I’m an interior designer/project develop designer with more than 8 years of experience in hospitality, modular housing and residential spaces. I lead the creative direction at RICHARDS, guiding high-end concepts across the Benelux, Southeast Asia, and Spain. I love turning ideas into fully realized environments, using 3D visualization and video to communicate the story behind each project.

I work closely with international craftsmen and suppliers, and I’ve regularly travelled to China and beyond to develop fully custom-made elements that give each concept a distinctive voice. A notable example is the Radisson Hotel Amsterdam Zuid concept that was designed and produced to fit its concept.

I have a good network of suppliers, and can both work from sketch turn-key project to building and complete project delivery.

I’m a UGC Creator | Video & Photographer | Brand Creator / Developer, crafting real-life, story-driven content that helps design-led brands translate products into lived experiences. I work in real environments—from off-grid travel setups to boutique hotels and wellness spaces—blending atmosphere, storytelling, and brand identity. My long-standing passion for world-building comes from more than 15 years of off-the-beaten-path travel and immersion in diverse cultures, which informs how I design materials, ambiance, and narrative across both physical and digital spaces.
