I’m Marilyn Brizuela, a fashion and motif designer specializing in textile patterns and collection development for international brands. Since 2013 I have been the Fashion & Motif Designer for Industria Topaz, Ltda. de C.V., focusing on men’s formal wear and sports shirt lines for the Pierre Cardin brand, and I lead trend forecasting to develop evocative seasonal color palettes and comprehensive tech packs to guide manufacturing.
With a background in interior design and architecture workshop, I bring strong 3D visualization, precision drafting, and garment construction skills to the table. I develop unique motifs tailored for both men’s and women’s clothing, and I collaborate across product lifecycles, from textile motif development to final output, while maintaining a flexible and proactive approach.

Retro Nouveau Motif Patterns is a design exploration that bridges the gap between two iconic eras of visual history. This project fuses the organic, flowing lines of Art Nouveau with the vibrant, geometric energy of 1960s and 70s Retro aesthetics.
The result is a collection of seamless patterns that feel both nostalgic and refreshingly modern, characterized by a unique “fluid geometry.”
