Hi, I’m Marisa Gershenhorn. While completing my bachelor’s degree at Hampshire College, I started working as an assistant on productions such as Manifest (2018), Mr. Robot (2015), and Mozart in the Jungle (2014). I also did animation for Emily Hubley’s Brainworm Billy, which has been shown at MoMA, Animation Block Party, and the Montclair Film Festival. I directed and animated my thesis film, The End of Inertia (2017), which screened at Harlem International Film Festival and Alternative Film Festival. Since then I’ve built over seven years of professional experience in video creation, with skills in editing, animation, motion graphics, color correction in Adobe Suite and DaVinci Resolve, plus video graphics, creative direction, and production coordination. I’ve edited and directed episodes for social media channels, worked on commercials including a Samsung ISOCELL series, and contributed to post-production pipelines for Condé Nast and other clients.
