Martina Birrer

I’m Martina Birrer — Storyteller, Camerawoman, and Video Journalist based in Switzerland.

Whether it’s a documentary, a news report, or content for your brand: I shoot, edit, and deliver. It’s a one-woman show — and I love it.

My background is trimedial, trained across TV, radio, and online at CH-Media. I bring newsroom speed and documentary heart to every project.

Most recently, I spent January to May 2026 as camerawoman, editor any data manager aboard the Sea Shepherd vessel Allankay in Antarctica. We produced Edge of the World: Krill Crisis — a weekly web series filmed in real time from the Southern Ocean, documenting industrial krill super trawlers destroying one of the planet’s last pristine ecosystems. Every episode was shot, edited, and released on the water. Raw, unscripted, and from the frontlines.

I’m passionate about stories that matter — and I’m always ready to go wherever they take me.
