Martin has managed the restoration (film to digital) and delivery of some of Australia’s most iconic classic films including Gallipoli (30th Anniversary), Black Robe, My Brilliant Career, Sunday Too Far Away, and the 1918 silent movie The Sentimental Bloke. As vfx-producer, Martin has been at the edge of new media experience such as the virtual reality drama VR Noir for Sydney VIVID Festival. Wild Squad a cinema-in-the- round experience for Taronga Zoo and End Of Empire doco series for Foxtel History Channel. In 2022 he was vfx-producer on a cutting edge science documentary from Ronde Media - The First Inventors. As media producer, Martin has managed the delivery for a range of commercial and corporate clients including VR Banking (Commonwealth Bank), Where You Shop (VISA), VR Helix (Medical Director), Studio Environment (SKY News) and Breville Australia. Trained as an editor and having cut on film, tape, and digital. Martin is across all forms of media and technically proficient in edit systems. His software of choice these days is Resolve, but is experienced in Adobe Premiere and After Effects. He has most recently (mid 2024) just locked edit on a to-be-released Australian comedy/drama feature film. Martin has also been guest lecturer at AFTRS about post and participated in conference presentation, panel Q&A.
