Matheus

I’m Matheus, a label founder and A&R professional with over 12 years in the music industry, specializing in Hip-Hop as an MC and beatmaker. I lead Sujo Ground, a label focused on Brazilian Boom bap, where I oversee artist development, A&R, and distribution, and I curate samples and collaborations for specific projects.

Throughout my career I’ve worked directly with the music industry—from independent collectives and labels to music production, songwriting, and event production. I’ve held roles at K2L, worked as a field producer for Maria Esmeralda’s tour, and contributed to award-winning performances at major festivals. I’m hands-on with project planning, artist selection, marketing strategies, and I bring a systems-thinking and social-communication background to every venture.
