I am Matteo Frassine, an Industrial Product Designer and Engineer with a strong focus on user-centered design and manufacturing integration. I’m a very hands-on designer: I enjoy prototyping, testing, refining, and ensuring each detail works both visually and mechanically. Between Milan and Madrid I’ve worked across product development, digital fabrication, material research, and production coordination. From creating 3D-printed prototypes in a FabLab to managing production workflows in a uniforms design studio, I’ve learned how to move effectively from concept to reality. I draw inspiration from architecture and the 1960s aesthetic, and I am committed to eco-conscious principles across education, manufacturing, and creative industries. Material innovation and responsible design are central to my approach. In my master thesis Fungitex I explored bio-based alternatives to leather through mycelium fabrication.
