What differentiates me from other designers is a wealth of experience speaking with users, building real world products & understanding common UX pitfalls to avoid. --- UX Design Intern for Tech Balance (12/23-01/24) I had the privilege of working with the Founder & technical team to flesh out the design for the upcoming Tech Balance alpha test. My role included: Communicating ideas with stakeholders to understand pre-existing UX research and managing expectations. Organising and running the user interviews which was then condensed into actionable resources. Prioritising features development in line with user problems. Designing wireframes & low fidelity prototypes that were used in usability testing Entrepreneur (01/22-Present) I have spent the past two years on various businesses including: Hippocamp: A meditation app to guide users through their breathing, Prompt: A motivation app to help people improve motivation using audio based UGC Hello Stranger: Conversation cards to help people with social anxiety which evolved into coaching & workshops, Nose2Knows: An AI matching service for aftershave. Through this process, I have developed skills including: User Interviews: Throughout my businesses, I have interviewed over 100 people. Public Speaking: I have run workshops, talks and spoken at a number of pitching events. Lean Product Development: I developed a range of low fidelity prototypes to prove business assumptions and understand the user problems better. Coach for Cardiff University Lacrosse (09/21-06/22) Coached players at various skill levels, fostering a positive team environment & helped educate players on the importance of teamwork, communication & personal development. Pricing Analyst for Admiral Insurance (09/2019-12/21) As part of my degree, I undertook a placement which led to a full time role within Admiral. My role included: Conducting in-depth analysis of customer rates, making real-time adjustments based on data insights. Using data analysis to segment and dissect data, enabling a more balanced risk portfolio. Explored various emerging areas to investigate whether there were potential risk areas that weren’t being covered
