I have been passionate about video games since I got my Nintendo DS in elementary school. That early fascination led me to start creating my own games, starting with text-based adventures. Over the years, I have continued to hone my skills, which has led me to pursue a master’s degree in computer science at the University of Southern California. Here I am specializing in game development and I hope to have the opportunity to utilize my skills in the industry.
As a game developer, I thrive on collaboration and problem-solving to create the best player experience possible. I currently serve as the QA Lead on a student project with over 30 team members, where I manage the QA team and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure smooth development and timely milestones. In addition, my internship at Boltz Entertainment allowed me to work in a professional studio environment, where I quickly adapted to their codebase and workflow. During my time there, I contributed to several gameplay systems and independently designed and implemented a new emote system.
Beyond my leadership and collaboration experience, I bring a strong technical foundation in Unity and C#, as well as familiarity with multiplayer systems, UI design, and performance optimization. I enjoy designing mechanics that are both creative and intuitive to ensure that player’s have a good experience. My goal is to continue growing as a developer who can contribute to both the design and development of games.
I would be thrilled to bring my technical expertise, leadership experience, and passion for game development into the industry. Thank you for your time and consideration—I look forward to the possibility of contributing to your team.
