I'm a Toronto based post-production professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry. After graduating from the Sheridan College’s Media Arts Program in the year 2000 I worked as an assistant editor where I first learned doing schedules, transcoding, logging, file management and syncing all while learning from some of the best commercial editors in Toronto, if not the country. Since 2005 I began editing myself and in 2010 I become a senior editor at Ricochet Post where I worked forging collaborative relationships with producers, directors and advertising teams in a variety of genres, cutting everything from broadcast commercials to all types of social video content and corporate videos. In 2020 I switched things up again decided to go freelance and I have been enjoying taking all my experience into different projects with new clients that are outside of the traditional advertising clients. Because of all this experience in such a wide variety of projects I think I would be a great candidate for any editing position.
