About
Hi there! I’m Matthew Ryu, a Boston-based guitarist and composer forging a global musical identity through modern improvisation. I explore the interplay between musicians and listeners, shaping performances and compositions that invite deep listening and shared creativity.
In a world of separation, I seek to unite people—musicians, audiences, and students—one melody at a time, through collaborative exploration, education, and community music.
