Matt can draw on his 25 years of professional experience help you with any stage of your musical project. from developing the initial ideas, right through to recording, editing, mixing and mastering.

Also a proficient multi-instrumentalist, Matt is proficient on a number of instruments including Guitar, Bass, Vocals, Drums, Keys, Turntables, Samplers & numerous genre-specific instruments such as lap steel, mandolin or resonator guitar. This provides him with a really broad palette of sounds from which to draw in order to create the exact sound you’re looking for.

A fan of most genres, Matt has particularly extensive experience with Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, RnB, Funk, Jazz, Blues, Folk, and Electronica; but his great strength is identifying those stylistic cues and motifs from your reference tracks, and incorporating them into your project in order to evoke the exact mood you’re seeking.

Additionally, he has extensive experience teaching these topics to others, including a catalog of literally hundreds of ‘How-To’ articles. This strength as a communicator means he’s particularly adept at working with you to quickly understand exactly what it is you need.
